12:30 pm: Drop by the Hirshhorn for 45 minute tours that will introduce you to our Collection and Special Exhibitions. All tours meet at the Information Desk in the lobby.

We encourage private and school groups to register for a self-guided tour in advance if you are planning to visit the museum. ARTWORKS SCHOOL GROUP TOURS
Our school tours for grades K-12 are interactive lessons that encourage students to observe, consider, and interpret works of art from the Hirshhorn Collection and Special Exhibitions. All tours are designed as interactive lessons with age-appropriate activities, discussion and teamwork. Expect to visit three to five galleries during your visit. All guided tours are 45 minutes.
ARTWORKS SCHOOL GROUP WORKSHOPS
Our ARTWORKS program offers three and a half hour workshops for Grades 6-12 that encourage students to use works from the Hirshhorn Collection as inspiration for their own digital media creations. All workshops take place between 10:00am – 2:00pm, and include a lunch break for students.
